England’s Under-21 Draw with Poland

Aidy Boothroyd didn’t actually want this result. However, an evening such as this isn’t going to have a long term negative effect on the young players of England’s manager. The final of European Championship in the summer to take place in San Marino and Italy is the bigger picture. This is where England will have to be ruthless when they are in front of the goal as they play against the opponents as tough as Poland if they hope to bring the silverware home.

The early strike of Dominic Calvert Lewin should have a platform to England to proceed and win the game. In this game, they were the side that was most accomplished for a long period. However, they were unable to turn their clean playing approach into the difficult currency of goals. This was ultimately undone by the excellent other end’s set piece.

NAWALKA FEELS THE PAIN

To go only as far as the Round of 8 in Euro without facing a single normal-time defeat does pain a lot to Adam Nawalka, but, the coach says the fact that the Red and Whites did not come second to any team in the one and half hours of normal play is a sign that they are much stronger than the past.

The only thing that Poland did wrong in the Euro was that they could only convert 3 out of their 4 shots in the shootout in the pre quarter final, while, the opponent Portugal converted all their 5 shots and so advanced.

Poland’s run, if that missed shootout shot in Marseille is taken out, was nearly flawless, but, one error and unfortunately, no other opportunity thereafter.

According to Nawalka, to miss a shot in the shootout and to have to pay that big a cost of it was ‘brutal’, but, the campaign has given him optimism that there are some bright times ahead for the team.

Nawalka was quoted as, “This Euro showed how far we have come with our Football. Nobody could down us in the normal two halves at any point in the competition and that I can mention with pride because some brilliant teams came our way.”

“Any player can fail to hit a penalty into the net on a certain day, but, you don’t want to be going out like that for sure. It was a brutal end of our journey, as brutal as it could have been.”

“Every day we work together, our purpose is that we have to get better than yesterday and I think our purpose is still going to be the same. It’s about trying to achieve the excellence all the time.”

Poland happy with current results

Poland has clinched victories over Gibraltar and Germany in their qualifying matches for the 2016 Euro’s but in their latest match, the Polish team had to settle with a 2-2 draw when playing with Scotland.

Despite only being able to collect 1 point against Scotland, the coach of the Polish squad Adam Nawalka has revealed that he and his squad are happy with the final result.

The team of Adam Nawalka has somehow managed to remain undefeated and is currently located at the very top of Group D with 7 points; they have the same amount of points as Republic of Ireland.

“We are satisfied with a point considering we were one goal down. It is good that we managed to recover. The last 30 minutes looked very good and I regret that time ran out so fast and we did not manage to score a winner. The European qualifiers have just started and we are in a very tough group’’ The manager of Poland Adam Nawalka said after the match reached its end.

The Polish squad is making history and appearing in headlines of websites and newspapers from all over the world as Poland was able to defeat Germany with a score of 2-0. This defeat was the first one that the German side suffered in a qualifier game since 1998 and their first loss in a competitive qualifying match in 7 years.

It certainly was a huge shocker when the match between Poland and Germany concluded and the Polish squad came out with the stunning and unforeseen triumph.

The tables have been turning around in the Group D of the 2016 Euro’s qualifiers as Germany was initially expected to be the squad to secure the top spot of the group without facing much difficulty in collecting positive results but now its Poland, the team that is looking like the team to beat.

Of course there are more than 5 qualifying matches left to be played which is more than enough for Germany to start making their charge for the top spot of the group and things can certainly change in the next months but Joachim Low and his players have to start getting their things together and demonstrate why they were crowned as the champions of the world.

A New Stadium And A Fresh Player To Enter Poland’s Team

A contract has been made for building a fresh stadium. So Lodz will have to incur a total investment of 138 million PLN. Within 6 months the design of the stadium has to be made by the builders. Plans of transferring the players to the Polish clubs have been on the minds of the managers.

For a premier league club of Poland the midfielder of the Nepali team Jagjeet Shreshtha has gone to Poland for training. He will undergo a trial of two months. Earlier he was thought to be approached by another European team but news confirmed that he has been signed for a trial by the Polish. It was Richard Orlowski who booked the deal with the Nepalese. The training will continue till 31st August. Who knows he might be selected permanently.

All the expense will be borne by the team of Poland which includes the airfare, accommodation and other nitty gritty. The coach of the national team of Nepal stated that he is a trustworthy player who can do wonders. It was the SAFF Championship which was a startling match and he was recognized as a star player.  His career began from Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club and extended to Friends Club till 2012 and in 2013 he has been associated with Three Star Club.

For him to be able to train under the Polish team is a huge opportunity since South East Asian players does not usually get such an opportunity. It will be a fresh start for him to learn European skills and techniques of football. It is also a matter of pride for South East Asian that a player of their native is selected to play and undergo training by the Polish football team. The club of Poland is in Bialystok as of now.
