Barcelona knocked out Manchester City from the Champions League and now the pressure is starting to build on to Manuel Pellegrini as the manager could be seeing his way out of the Etihad Stadium if the team fails to win any major trophy in this season.
Chelsea still remains in the top spot of the Premier League and the team of Jose Mourinho depends on themselves if they want to win the top tier English League in this season.
Ronald de Boer is a former Ajax player as well as the brother of Frank de Boer who is currently coaching Ajax. Frank de Boer is going through a splendid time as the manager of Ajax as he has guided the club to 4 successive Eredivisie and Ronald de Boer has now stated that his brother Frank de Boer would be interested in taking charge of Manchester City if the opportunity presents itself but only after 2016.
Ronald de Boer said: “Frank would be interested in managing Manchester City in the future. He’s already said he will stay at Ajax until 2016. If Manchester City or Barcelona comes for him he will still stay at Ajax. After that 2016, he is ready to take on a job like that.”
The 44 year old manager Frank de Boer is constantly being linked with a coaching position in a top club including: Barcelona, Real Madrid and more recently Manchester City.
Manchester City’s Manuel Pellegrini has already said that his future in the Premier League club will not depend on whether or not he is capable of winning trophies with the English team but it seems hard to believe that one of the most expensively built squads in the entire world would be satisfied with not winning any big pieces of silverware.
