Polish international Robert Lewandowski has revealed that he made no apology to his Bayern Munich teammate Manuel Neuer after voting for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the latest FIFA Ballon d’Or award ceremony.
Neuer would have become the first goalkeeper to have won this award. He was in the running until the last moment after his exploits with Bayern and Germany. He won the league title with Bayern Munich and went on to lift the World Cup with Germany in Brazil. Ronaldo, meanwhile, won the Champions League with Madrid but he had a very disappointing World Cup.
Lewandowski joined ranks withNeuer only this season and he says that he is aware of the selection he made when it comes to the FIFA Ballon d’Or award.
